USDC Stablecoin May Expand To 10 Additional Blockchains Soon

USDC, a stablecoin that is now used in four blockchains, may soon appear in eight to ten more networks. USDC was launched on Ethereum in 2018 and expanded to Algorand, Stellar and Solana in the second half of 2020.

It will be the largest stablecoin expansion to date, with a capitalization of $ 25 billion and potentially surpassing the eight blockchains supporting USDT from Tether, the market leader with a market cap of $ 63 billion.

“We expect USDC to be available on Avalanche, Celo, Flow, Hedera, Kava, Nervos, Polkadot, Stacks, Tezos and Tron in the coming months,” says a draft announcement from USDC Administrator CENTER.

In its draft announcement, CENTER said an updаte on the timing of further integrations would be released “before the end of the year.”
